Interplay's upcoming game, Run Like Hell, has been delayed due to a shift in the overall focus of the gameplay. The game was originally planned to fit into the survival horror genre, but the developers have now decided to put more emphasis on its action elements, as described by the game's producer, Travis L. Williams:| "We are focusing on making the action element of Run Like Hell more immersive & enjoyable than it was before. Run Like Hell started as a survival horror game. However, everyone found the pacing of a Survival Horror game to be too slow. The creatures that you have to face in Run Like Hell move a little too fast for you to have the typical Survival Horror control scheme. These changes are pretty fundamental to the way Run Like Hell works and it will no doubt take us to the end of the year to accomplish." |
