Installation
Installation was as plain and painless as ever. A swift removal of my old Voodoo3 3000, a quick shove of the new card into my AGP slot and I was moving right along. After
powering on, I did notice a strange buzzing sound. It just so happens that my horizontal slot fan was in the wrong spot and was brushing up against the fan on the
geForce2 (see photo). It was on there previously to help move air around the V3 3000 heatsink, so it was removed temporarily. I continued bootup as Windows 98 had no
problem detecting it. A quick browse to the CD for the drivers was no problem and the software installed smoothly. I reassembled my case as a quick reboot was in progress to
complete the installation. The booklet features excellent step by step instructions to assist even the technically challenged.
