Installation
Installation of the camera was very painless. All that was required
was to plug the power and network cable to the camera, write down
the MAC address of the NIC of the camera and simply do a ARP -s
<IP Address> <Network Camera MAC>. Then simply remove
and re-apply power to the unit, and it was now accessible. From
that point it could be accessed and configured via the web-based
wizards.
The Web Server

Image Settings Page
Features:
Images - features a selection for both single image capture
and continuous motion capture
Resolution - pretty self-explanatory in that it allows for
the selection of the capture resolution
Compression - compression settings for network performance
tweaking. As a general rule, the higher the compression the more
loss of quality.

of the camera
White Balance - settings for white balance for indoor or

The focus sub-page features enabling and disabling of the focus
assistant, which is a feature built-in to the camera which tells
the user when the camera is focused by use of a built-in LED on
the camera that turns green when focused. This prevents from having
to run back and forth from a computer to check if the picture is
focused.

Modem Settings Page
Features modem type selection as well as advanced communication
settings like baud, rate, idle disconnect, and callback.

Motion Detection Settings Page
The motion detection settings page has several options that can
be configured. The first step is to create a detection window and
resize it around the area of the image you want to be monitored.
After that you can tweak the sensitivity settings which include:
Size - Configures the size of objects which trigger motion
detection events
History - Configures how long an object triggers the motion
detection
Sensitivity - Setting which defines how much luminance difference
is required before triggering the event
