I've always liked chess. Chess is one of the "cool" intellectual games. You probably have a chess game set up in your den or living room, but how often do you actually use it? The two main problems with chess are, no one to play with (One chess geek per house), and you play so poorly that you're embarassed to play it when you get the chance. "Chess? Not me! Hey! Let's go check out  Ghost Recon: Island Thunder". Chessmaster 9000 eliminates any reason you have not to pick up chess as a regular game to play.

Chessmaster 9000 is the lastest version of the best selling chess brand from Ubi Soft Entertainment. Not only do you get one of the best chess game engines(The King), informative lessons, and a large list of opponents, you get an enviroment that is visually appealing and easy to use.

Worth mentioning, the US Chess Champion, Grandmaster Larry Christiansen, played Chessmaster 9000 in a four game match this last weekend(September 28 & 29). Larry won the first game, Chessmaster 9000 won the second two, and the last game was a draw. Of course you don't have to play the Chessmaster 9000 on it's greatest level of difficulty, but it's there if you are up to the challenge.
