Conclusion:
This Enermax power supply
is definitely worth the money if you're a serious OCer, modder,
or PC enthusiast that needs the extra wattage for cold cathodes,
fans and other devices like an LCD.
What I really like about the
Enermax power supplies is that it has the extra semi-clear 90mm
fan on the bottom that is covered by a gold plated grill. I also
love the overall quietness of the power supply when running. When
you have your computer on 24/7 you tend to "ignore" the
sound of your computer and its components but as I ran the power
supply in the open for several weeks I could hear my 60mm Delta
Fan over the 2 90mm fans that are in the power supply.
A drawbacks that I held against
this power supply, and the reason that it received the 4.5 out of
5 rating, was its price. This PSU is a bit on the pricey side for
a 350W power supply.
I did however want to mention about the length of the power cables,
but not as a flaw. The cables are REALLY long and excessive if you
were going to install this into a mid sized case. But, this is in
NO means something I would ever want Enermax to think about changing.
This is a great feature in the power supply, but may push a future
buyer away because the power wires are just too long for their case.
Overall I would recommend
this power supply to someone that has a wimpy power supply and needs
something a bit more. The EG365P-VE has a lot of great features,
like the adjustable fan speed, the motherboard power cable that
is rapped in a woven mesh for neatness, and the overall looks and
feel.
Lastly I wanted to thank "Franky"
from Enermax/Maxpoint for giving 3d Retreat, and myself the chance
to review the Enermax EG365P-VE power supply. Thank you for your
help, and support.
