 :: Visiontek Geforce3

Conclusion

I think from all the screenshots and benchmarks it can be seen that the Visiontek Geforce3 is definately a winner, and a breathrough in graphics technology. Its vertex and pixel programmability support allow game developers to add more realism and uniqueness to their games. The only problem right now is that there are not many games available for it. However, there are several in the works, right now, that are expected to be released very soon. Plus, with the upcoming Xbox, which is running the same technology, I think we will see a lot of Xbox games become available as PC games.

Bottom Line: I would say if you are really into graphics and PC gaming, and $400 is not that big of a deal I would highly recommend buying the Visiontek Geforce3. For most people though, $400 is probably quite a bit of money. You have two choices the way I see it, wait until the price drops or pick up the GF3 technology in the Xbox on November 8th for $299.
