 :: Polaroid PDC1100 Digital Camera
  Conclusion
After reviewing this product, I am a little perplexed as to how I should conclude this review. The features of the camera and quality of the pictures it takes are EXCELLENT and it includes some great photo editing software. Although, the fact that the camera is a battery hog is a big concern for me. A lot of people purchase a digital camera to help cut out the cost of developing film like with 35mm cameras. But what is the point of purchasing a digital camera to cut out the developing cost but making it up in having to purchase batteries all the time? I suppose you could do as the manual says and purchase rechargeable batteries, but even then you have the hassle of having to do it constantly. About the only way to utilize the life of the batteries for a long time is to keep the TFT off and use the optical viewfinder. To me, when I think of digital camera, I think of TFT; and I believe this is what a lot of people look for in a digital camera. Therefore, why would you want to buy something with a TFT but not be able to use it?
