Design/Durability:
In this day
and age I want to spend my money on a quality product that wont
bust if I accidentally drop it once, or had it for a few months.
To tell you the truth the Rio Volt is made very well, and has a
great design that is very durable under stress. No I did not drop
it on the ground or try and destroy it. But just from using it on
a day-to-day basis it felt and stood up to my daily abuse to it.

In the pictures
you see above, is of the hinge on the door of the Rio Volt. As you
look closer at the hinge portion you may notice that it looks very
tough, and made very sturdy. I applied some force to it, and it
budged just a tad. I suppose If you really wanted to bust off your
new door off on your Rio Volt you would be able to snap it off by
dropping a 5lb. rock on it, but we would not want to do that now
would we? No! For a general, and somewhat abusive use, the Rio Volt
can handle the stress, and pressure to it. From my daily abuse to
it, and me using it everyday it really stood up to the extreme stress
that was performed by me, and others that played with it.

To sum it
all up, the Rio Volt has a rounded, tapered design that has a smooth
touch, and a nice silver, and Aztec-Blue color scheme. The mode
and navigation buttons surround the LCD screen, and a four-way joy
pad is used for track navigation. Navigation, volume, and equalizer
functions are also shown on a handy, clip-on wired remote control
that attaches in-line with your headphones.
Now onto the
Sound Quality Testing Phase.....
