Setup
The setup of the rocket drive was fairly straight forward, just as
you would expect with any standard PCI card. The only issue I had
with the installation was re-arranging my PCI cards so I could fit
the Rocket Drive. The problem was the memory cards on the rocket drive
stick out enough that if you have a full height card just below the
Rocket Drive, the memory sticks will rest on the back of the card.
So I set my Rocket Drive in the last slot, where the memory cards
had plenty of space in my case.
Once plugged into the PCI slot, I hooked up the external power supply,
that lets the rocket drive retain its memory once the system power
is shut off. Then I powered up windows XP and installed the drivers
that came on the floppy.
