 :: Visiontek Geforce2 Ultra
  The Product
Some of you may be wondering exactly what makes the Geforce2 Ultra so special in comparison to other Geforce2 family members. Well, right now the Geforce2 Ultra is the Mac daddy of the Geforce2 family. It's like a Geforce2 GTS/PRO on steroids. Just like the Geforce2 GTS/PRO, it features the standard High-Definition Video Processor, NVIDIA Shading Rasterizer, AGP 4X/2X, 32-bit Color, etc. The Geforce2 Ultra, however, offers over 1 Billion Pixels/Sec of rendering power offering the highest frame rates. It also features a 7.3GB/sec memory bandwidth allowing for maximum CPU usage and graphics throughput.

The Visiontek Geforce2 Ultra has great support for future monitor upgrades. For example, it features a standard video out as well as a DVI output for connecting digital or analog flat panel displays for whenever you decide to shell out the money, or they reduce in price of the flat panel displays.

Included with the Visiontek Geforce2 Ultra are two long heatsinks covering all 64MB of the superfast DDR memory, and a heatsink and fan for the Geforce2 Ultra chip. From taking a look at the NVIDA site it seems that the heatsinks and fan are standard on all reference boards.

Enough talk about the card, let's get right to what we all care about BENCHMARKS!

Testing
For testing I used the standard benchmarking applications, 3Dmark, Quake III, and 3D Winbench 2000.
